Purpose
Within our Corporate Network Development Directorate (CND), we are currently looking for 1 trainee. The project deals with ATC simulation platforms harmonisation and integration. It should lead to functionalities merging from EHQ TCD and EEC eDep platforms.

Main responsibilities
• Investigating both TCD and eDep software modules and architecture to identify synergies for integration, mainly from a Controller Working Position (CWP) Human Machine Interface (HMI) point of view.
• Implementing the identified modules in the target platform.
• Building tests and validation scenarios for the new setup
• Providing the associated documentation, demonstrations and presentations support to emphases the achieved benefits.

Preferred profile
• Engineering background and/or IT specialist
• Good knowledge of both C/C++ and Java
• The working languages of the Agency are English and French. For this particular post, candidates must have a good knowledge of English and French.

Desired duration
• From 2 up to 12 months

Eligibility
• The traineeship should start within eighteen months of completion of the studies.
• If the traineeship is part of the studies, the programme of the traineeship must be directly related to the subject of the studies.
• Candidates should have the nationality of one of the EUROCONTROL or ECAC Member States (http://www.eurocontrol.int/corporate/public/standard_page/org_membership.html)

Candidates should complete the EUROCONTROL Application Form for traineeships and send it to traineeship@eurocontrol.int together with copies of the following documents:

• ID card or passport
• educational certificates
• student card (if the traineeship is part of the educational programme)
• programme of study (if the traineeship is part of the educational programme)
• a recent criminal record sheet and proof of medical coverage should be provided at the start of the traineeship

The application form and other documents submitted shall not be returned to unsuccessful candidates or kept by the Agency.
The traineeship will be subject to the EUROCONTROL Agency Traineeship Programme Regulations.
